Malfunctioning PCOS machines were reported in several Camarines Sur towns in Bicol. Voting was delayed for one hour in Bombon town due to PCOS failure. In Sagnay, voters waited for six hours for the PCOS machine to work. The Comelec Board of Election Inspectors (BEI) in the two towns were unable to explain the details of the PCOS malfunction.
Meanwhile, three PCOS machines broke down in the town of Pili where police from Camp Crame reportedly assisted. In Libmanan, Camarines Sur, the PCOS machine malfunctioned reportedly due to “oversized” ballots being fed into the machine.
A number of voters were also reportedly stranded in Sorsogon port at 12 p.m. allegedly because of lack of passenger vessels. #
