Different precincts in Cavite and Laguna faced PCOS machine malfunction and allegedcases of fraud, according to reports from Kontra Daya volunteers.
The PCOS machine at Clustered Precinct 23 at Dasmarinas Central Elementary School in Burol 1, Cavite was not reading ballots as of 12:04 p.m. In Bacoor, Cavite, a total of 18 ballots were rejected by the PCOS machine at Paliparan 3 Elementary School as of 12:01 p.m.
Voting was delayed at Precinct 179 at University of Perpetual Help-Laguna in Binan due to PCOS failure. PCOS machines also malfunctioned in the following areas: Clustered Precincts 560A, B, C and 561A and B at Talaba Elementary School in Bacoor; Precinct no. 771A and 711B, Dasmarinas Elementary School in Cavite; and Precinct 77 in Brgy. Mamatid Cabuyao, Laguna.
Meanwhile, more than 500 members of AnakPawis PartyList in Calamba, Laguna were not able to vote immediately because their names were not in the master list of their respective polling precincts. They were able to vote only a few hours later after conferring with local Comelec officials.
In Cavite, there were reports of vote buying from the group of congressional candidate Barzaga. Sample ballots with attached Php200 bills were allegedly being distributed in Bgy Sampaloc 4 in Dasmarinas.
In GMA, Cavite, a voter from Cluster 30, Precint 94B reportedly failed to vote because his name was already marked voted as of 10 a.m. #
