Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machines-related problems in the National Capital Region (NCR) disturbed the voting process.

11 ballots were rejected by a defective PCOS machine today at 11am in Santolan Elementary School in Pasig City. Another voting center in Pasig that encountered constant PCOS machine defects is Napico Elementary School in Brgy. Mangahan.

Caloocan City polling centers Gomburza Elementary School, Caloocan High School, and Kalayaan High School also encountered PCOS-related errors that caused delay and inefficiencies in the voting process.

Other voting centers that encountered PCOS malfunctions are Don Bosco Gym in ParaƱaque; Abada High School, and Ramon Magsaysay High School in Manila City; Bagbag Elementary School, and Pinyahan Elementary School in Quezon City.

Other problems encountered are the lack of markers supply in Nagpayong Elementary School, Pasig City that prompted the use of ordinary pens in shading, and the loss of registered names in the master list in Corazon Aquino Elementary School in Quezon City.

Massive vote-buying by Virgilio Batalla in San Isidro, Makati, and Bernabe in Brgy. San Isidro, Paranaque was also rampant.
