More defective PCOS machines were reported in Quezon City and Manila as the voting continued in the afternoon, poll watchdog Kontra Daya said today.
Three PCOS machines for precinct no. 4313, cluster 622 in Old Balara Elementary School, Quezon City were reported as defective.
In precinct 4188-A in Quezon City, program application errors forced PCOS machines to shut down. Voters—some of whom had not even finished answering their ballots—were advised by the local BEI that their ballots would be fed into another separate PCOS machine.
In Manila’s Emilio Aguinaldo Integrated School precinct (cluster 3614), at least one PCOS machine was reported as defective by poll watcher Zhusmita Manangan. ###
