With E-Day fast approaching, Kontra Daya clarifies common misconceptions regarding health protocols and procedures for tomorrow’s national and local elections:

  1. A negative RT-PCR/antigen test or a vaccine card is NOT REQUIRED to enter the polling center. You do not need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in order to vote.
  2. You are REQUIRED to wear a face mask. You do not need to wear a face shield worn at the polling center if the area is under Alert Level 3 or lower.
  3. You can still vote if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or test with a temperature higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius. If you are symptomatic, you will be directed to the isolation polling precinct.
