Despite claims by Comelec chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. that the final testing and sealing (FTS) of PCOS machines in the first district of Pasay City today went on smoothly, poll watchdog Kontra Daya reported several problems in precincts that the group monitored.

At the P. Villanueva Elementary School, for instance, Kontra Daya field monitors reported cases of ballot rejection, paper jams and ballots smudged by pen ink. The group also noted that the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI) members did not have any notebook or forms to take down problems encountered during the FTS.

The FTS was also delayed due to incomplete election paraphernalia.
